Darren is a previous owner of the PT&BS. He and his business partner Robert Hayhurst sold the business in 2017 to Doug Harris.
Darren started his career at Total Rubber before working for Powergrip Industries and Transmission Australia. Darren then moved to Brenmar before acquiring the PT&SB business in 2007.
Darren has sold all round power transmission experience with added strengths in drive, conveyor and timing belts. Darren takes the leading role in coordinating work in PT&BS’s machine shop where he works closely with the companies leading fitter and turner, David Howden.
Darren grew up in Bayswater and had a distinguished junior sporting career playing representative football and under 19’s in the VFL. Darren remains active with football having cotched junior at a number of age groups over the years. In 2018 Darren will coach Bayswater’s U19’s.
Darren is also a keen water skier, competitive fisherman and lawn bowler.
